You have seen homes with a solar electric panel on the roof and wondered why they would choose that form of energy. Solar energy is a renewable resource given off by the power of the sun. Installing solar panels in your home or business allows you to become your own solar electricity company, utilizing your own energy and meeting the needs of your home. The trend in energy prices continues to go up and up in price, as we approach an energy crisis.
